Some of you know that one of my favorite foods is Choucroute garnie, "... a famous Alsatian recipe for preparing sauerkraut with sausages and other salted meats and charcuterie, and often potatoes."
Today, I decided to make a version of this delectable dish. Behold, a tower of deliciousness.
Bottom layer is a mixture of sauerkraut, spices, garlic and onion. On top of that goes beef short ribs. Then comes a few country style pork ribs, apples, onions, some more spices and 2 bottles of beer.
Of course, we can't forget the chunks of slab bacon. Never forget the bacon. And more garlic.
Do want.
