 Folks,

I want to thank you for supporting Mike and his mission to obliterate blood cancer. It means a lot to me that so many of you took notice.

Another dear family friend is raising money through Team in Training, but this time, it's personal. His letter below says it all FAR better than I could. Please hit the jump and take a read.

In all honesty though, I think his goal was low. Let's see if we can double this goal for him!!

A very big supporter of this blog is raising money for a cause that is very near and dear to my heart.

A HUGE thank you to Mike Fabbri for doing what he is doing. There really isn't a whole lot to say actually other than DONATE DONATE DONATE. Leukemia and Lymphoma are horrible diseases, but thankfully we have very un-horrible people like Mike around who work hard to help fund cure research.

Please help Adam reach his Walk for Lupus Goal~!!

Adam is a great guy walking for a really great cause. His team is VERY close to their fundraising goals. Let's help him surpass those goals!!

As I'm writing this, Adam is the #4 fundraiser, come on folks, he deserves to be #1!!

Boy Scouts of America Celebrates 100 Anniversary

I'm glad that BSA is getting some recognition for this.

BSA is a great organization, responsible for many of the skills I'm proud of today. It's not all about building fires and living in tents (but that's the fun part). From CPR to public speaking, scouting can really make a difference in a youth's life.

In her own words:

As you may already know, I've decided to do something sort of nuts and run a marathon - not just any marathon, but the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco! That's right, 26.2 miles in a city famous for its many hills. Pretty scary. Why would I do something like that? Well, when I first thought about joining Leukemia and Lymphoma's Team in Training, I just wanted to meet new people in the community and get in shape. But when I met the volunteers and other participants in the program, they completely inspired me, and I couldn't say no! I went into it hoping to go for the half marathon, but they are talked me into going for the full. I guess I'm going to have to cut back on lots of my favorite things like ice cream and cookies...and sleeping in!
