Photographic Evidence Proves That Squid Can Fly

Well, I both
A) Saw this on the intertubes
B) Saw direct evidence (a photograph)

So it must be 100% true.

Actually, lucky for me, this seems to be true.

Man Invents Electric Lobster Taser...and It's PETA Approved

Man Invents Electric Lobster Taser...and It's PETA Approved : TreeHugger

Sooo, all I can hear in my head is Beavis and Butthead going "THE CHAIR, THE CHAIR, THE CHAIR".

If I had to chose between electrocution and being boiled alive, I have to say, it's kind of a touch choice.

I really love the last line of the article "Restaurants will be able to shell out between £1,000 and £2,000 per machine, which comes in single stun or a continuous flow stunner for processing more than one lobster."

Giant Smalleye Stingray Caught on Film

BBC - Earth News - First film of a 'giant' stingray

Sorry, I tried to find a picture of the ray, but it's so rare, I couldn't find any. Hit the link above for the video. A truly majestic creature.

Oasis of the Seas, world's largest and most lavish cruise ship

What do you say about this ship other than "holy cow, that thing's huge"

At 5 times the size of the titanic, this thing is simply ginourmous. Like, holy crap.

My birthday's coming up, anyone want to buy me a cruise ship? There's a great video of the ship passing under the bridge on the ship's web site: http://www.oasisoftheseas.com/

Manatee Poop Prompts cleanup

Good News: Great Dane-Size Manatee Droppings Smother Florida's Humiston Park Beach : TreeHugger

This is good news? Giant poop logs invade the beach, and we're happy?  I'm really glad the scientists did a feel test, 'cause otherwise, you'd never know it was poop.

Giant, Mucus-Like Sea Blobs on the Rise

AHHH!! THE BLOB ATTACKS!

Am I the only one that's getting the feeling that scifi is getting a little too close to reality, and that nature is on the offensive?
